An Audience with Sir Ranulph Fiennes
Friday 29th November – 19.30hrs / Tickets: VIP - £89 / Standard - £35

VIP Tickets – ONLY 24 AVAILABLE
We are able to offer just 24 tickets to meet Sir Ranulph for an exclusive intimate pre-show reception with drinks and canapés’. This opportunity is very rare and offers ticket holders a once in a lifetime chance to be up close and personal with one of the world’s most interesting, dynamic and revered men.

Listening to Sir Ranulph Fiennes’ incredible stories leaves you dumbfounded and in a state of disbelief.

Three things stand out firstly from the big screen video entrance the 50-minute description of his life and the audience Q&A sessions that follow. He is not one to boast, he does not suffer fools gladly and he has a very dry but funny sense of humour. It is not for the faint-hearted either, with a couple of pictures of hands and feet that had been subjected to extreme cold and the ravaged faces exposed to pure Ozone.

Among the many physical problems Sir Ranulph describes, including heart-attacks and diabetes, one is very evident. Frostbite cost the explorer the fingers on his left hand and such was the pain during his wait to have them operated on in the UK (you have to wait five months on medical grounds) his description of literally taking matters into his own hands with his wife Ginny was as a bleak and matter-of-fact as any story you’ll ever hear.

It is a privilege to be in such an incredible man’s company.
He is undoubtedly a Great Briton and the World’s Greatest Living Explorer. Sir Ranulph Fiennes is super human and a super human too.

If his story were not true you would not believe it and if you have not seen him live, then this event is an absolute must.
When the night has finished Sir Ranulph will host a book signing where guests can purchase any of his books and have them personally signed and dedicated by the man himself.

"Hee Hee", "Oww"!
If you are missing the true "King of Pop" we have some good news for you as we have coming to the Forum next year: -
Forever Jackson
Saturday 1st February 2020 - 19.30hrs / Tickets - £21

Please click on the link below to see what is to come: -
youtu.be/nc8pZm-1J7U?t=5

There are musicians and there are entertainers; there are rock stars and there are pop stars; but sitting above them all is the phenomenon that is Michael Jackson. The ‘UK’s No.1 Tribute to MJ’ (National Tribute Awards) pays homage to the "King of Pop" with a spectacular show featuring a hugely talented live band and an amazing all girl dance crew.

MJ himself is portrayed by Robin Parsons, a performer whose voice represents the distinctive tones of Jackson and who has been described as ‘a reincarnation’ by Michael's very own tour manager.
With 100% live vocals, video backdrops and MJ’s classic dance routines you’ll be transported back in time to experience the music of a legend; from the Jackson 5’s 'I Want You Back' to the monster hit ‘Thriller’; from the electrifying ‘Smooth Criminal’ to the all-time classic ‘Billie-Jean’

As history has proven, stories about the man will come and go but the music is for everyone and will always remain ‘Forever Jackson’

Don't forget we have our "Relaxed Screening" of the classic musical - Oklahoma! (U) - here at the Forum on Tuesday 20th August 2019 - 20.00hrs / Tickets £6/£5

We will be keeping the lights on low and adjusting the sound to suit the audience and there will be an interval halfway through where we will be serving complimentary teas, coffees, cake and biscuits. Please note, there is no admission charge for carers.

Even though we will be keeping the lights low, etc. to suit the audience, if you are a big fan of musicals, then please feel free to come along and purchase a ticket and enjoy listening to "Oh, What A Beautiful Mornin", "Kansas City", etc.

Set in Oklahoma Territory, it tells the story of farm girl Laurey Williams (Jones) and her courtship by two rival suitors, cowboy Curly McLain (MacRae) and the sinister and frightening farmhand Jud Fry (Steiger). A secondary romance concerns Laurey’s friend, Ado Annie (Grahame), and cowboy Will Parker (Nelson), who also has an unwilling rival. A background theme is the territory’s aspiration for Statehood, and the local conflict between cattlemen and farmers.

Director: Fred Zinnemann
Writers: Sonya Levien; William Ludwig
Stars: Gordon MacRae, Shirley Jones (in her film debut), Rod Steiger, Charlotte Greenwood
Run Time: 145 mins

Don't forget we have "An Audience with Andy McNab"
Tuesday 15th October 2019 - 19.30hrs / Tickets - £30 which includes a signed hardback copy of his new book "Whatever It Takes".

Please click on the link below to purchase tickets: -
forumnorthallerton.savoysystems.co.uk/…/TSelectItems…

Ladies and Gentleman,
From the day he was found in a Harrods carrier bag on the steps of Guy's Hospital, Andy McNab has lived an extraordinary life. Brought up on the gritty housing estates of Peckham, South East London, as a teenage delinquent, he kicked against society.

As a young soldier he waged war against the IRA in the streets and fields of South Armagh. As a member of 22 SAS he was at the centre of covert operations for nine years – on five continents.

During the first Gulf War he commanded Bravo Two Zero, a patrol that, in the words of his commanding officer, 'will remain in regimental history for ever'.

The patrol infiltrated Iraq in January 1991, but was soon compromised. A fierce firefight with Iraqi troops ensued and the patrol was forced to escape and evade on foot to Syria. Three of the eight men were killed; four were captured after three days on the run; one escaped.

One of the four taken prisoner, McNab was held for six weeks and was relentlessly and savagely tortured. He suffered nerve damage to both hands, a dislocated shoulder, kidney and liver damage and contracted hepatitis. After six months of medical treatment he was back on active service.

Awarded both the Distinguished Conduct Medal (DCM) and Military Medal (MM) during his career, McNab was the British Army's most highly decorated serving soldier when he finally left the SAS in February 1993.

18.30hrs - Door Open / Book Collection
19.30hrs - Part 1 - An Audience with Andy McNab
20.30hrs - Interval
21.00hrs - Audience Q&A
22.00hrs - Finish

BOOKS
Andy McNab has written about his experiences in the SAS in three bestselling books. "Bravo Two Zero" is the highest selling war book of all time and has sold over 10 million copies in the UK alone. It has been published in 17 countries and translated into 16 languages. "Immediate Action", McNab's autobiography, spent 18 weeks at the top of the bestseller lists. "Seven Troop" was a Sunday Times Top 5 bestseller in hardback and paperback.
