The Forum has a small staff team, complemented by volunteers. We couldn't operate without the time given by lots of local people.
In particular, you might be able to help us by volunteering or by supporting us in another way. And of course if you have any other ideas, do get in touch!
Volunteering at the Forum:
The Forum already has a team of volunteers, who help the organisation by giving their time, skills, energy and enthusiasm to help make the organisation tick.
But we always need more help! This can be in many forms, and there are a variety of roles to suit people who have a regular amount of time to give, or who can only help out for a couple of hours every now and again. And of course everything in between!
If you want to volunteer, the first step is to fill in our Volunteer Interest Form. You can then hand it in at the Forum, or email it to our team at volunteering@forumnorthallerton.org.uk
And if you want a bit more information, read on or get in touch!
What roles are available?
We need volunteers for the following areas and roles: Front of House, Stewarding, Bar Work, Cinema Projectionists, admin, finance, technicians (sound and lighting) and much more. If you're interested in any of these things, get in touch!.
What time commitment do I need to give?
It's up to you - we have roles where you only need to give a couple of hours when you can - such as working Front of House or on the Bar - and there are also roles where you would give a certain amount of time each week.
How do I get involved?
The first stage is to have a chat with us or fill in a Volunteer Interest Form and send it in.
Is there an age restriction?
Currently, we can only accept volunteers over the age of 18.
What if I have any more questions?
If you want to talk about volunteering at the Forum, including how you might get involved as a volunteer, contact our team by e-mail volunteering@forumnorthallerton.org.uk, call 01609 776230, or pop in - there will be someone here who can help most weekdays, or during our events
