Whilst partial, himself to the odd bit of cold turkey, it is banned in most theatre auditoriums, apart from in the north east, because of it getting trodden in to the carpets etc, and the cumulative smell. Their new show - “Let’s Rock the 70s” - presents the iconic rock songs that defined an era, celebrating the greatest decade of rock music.
Veterans of Glastonbury, these magnificent musicians have built a fabulous reputation over the years, working regularly with stars like Toyah Willcox, Carol Decker and Two Tone Legends, Pauline Black, (The Selecter) Neville Staples (The Specials), Rankin Roger (The Beat).

World renowned Johnny Lee Memphis, the JLM band, the Memphis Belles, come together to produce this explosive and dynamic interpretation of Elvis live in concert. The Absolute Elvis Show.
Elvis was Johnny’s very first inspiration. As a small boy Johnny would passionately watch all of Elvis’s movies and listen to his songs. Through the motivation and love of Elvis his aunt Helen started Johnny Singing along and dancing the moves. All for family entertainment at the tender age of only 3. Johnny’s home grown musical talent has since taken him far and wide.
Paying homage to the king since 2004, he is absolutely one of the best Elvis Tribute Artists in the business. His craft has led him to work in countries such as Canada, USA, China, Australia, Spain, Norway, Sweden, Italy, Germany, and of course the Mecca for all Elvis Tribute Artists as he has performed directly across from Graceland in Memphis Tennessee USA.
His career has also led him to meet and work with people who knew Elvis personally. To quote two of Johnny’s favorite critiques about his performance.

Johnny has received many awards and accolades for his very accurate and sincere performances. In 2019 he was inducted into the ‘International Elvis Presley Tribute Artist hall of fame’ (a very prestigious award indeed). Prior to this Johnny took first place at the 2015 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest Preliminaries in Penticton BC Canada. This Qualification saw Johnny go on to become the only Scotsman to have made the top ten final at the Ultimate Elvis Contest in Memphis. All this on the same stage Elvis performed on all those years ago. Before that in 2014 Johnny won the European Elvis Presley Tribute Artist championships in Birmingham England.
He says that although he has had great success in contests and events all around the world, his greatest honour as an Elvis Tribute Artist, was when he was invited to perform as part of the queens jubilee celebrations held in front of thousands of people on George Square Glasgow Scotland. This event was held in in the summer of 2012. The only Elvis Tribute Artist ever to do this with a live 10 piece band.
