Terms of Admittance
Tickets are checked at the main doors to the venue and all patrons must have a valid ticket for any event where a ticket is required for entry. The Forum reserves the right to refuse entry without a valid ticket.
The Forum reserves the right to refuse admission to, or to eject from, the venue anyone it believes to be unfit by reason of the consumption of alcohol and/or drugs or who displays rowdy, disruptive, violent or anti-social behaviour.
The following are not permitted to be brought into the venue:
• Alcohol and zero alcohol products
• Non prescribed medication
• Takeaway and fast food products
• Penknives, scissors and tools
The Forum reserves the right to confiscate these or any other items which could be used to cause harm, or to refuse admission to anyone carrying these items.
Customers are not permitted to smoke within our premises, including any form of electronic cigarette or other artificial smoking devices.
For the safety of performers, and to minimise disruption, latecomers may be asked to wait for a suitable break in the performance before taking their seats.
No audio or visual recording is allowed. Any person found doing so may be asked to leave the venue and the recorded material may be destroyed.
Ticket Sales:
Concessions are available on selected performances for customers aged over 60, children under 16, children and adults in full time education, and those in receipt of benefits. Further information can be obtained at the time of booking and it is the customer’s responsibility to claim any discounts they may be entitled to at the time of booking. Discounts cannot be applied retrospectively.
Free essential companion tickets may be available for customers who require an essential companion to accompany them to the venue owing to their disability, illness or other conditions. The Forum may require supporting documentation.
The Forum accepts no responsibility for tickets or services purchased via an agency, promoter or any third party.
Tickets cannot be refunded after purchase.
Up to 24hrs before a performance commences tickets may, at The Forum Northallerton discretion, be exchanged for another performance of the same production upon return of tickets for which a fee of £1 per ticket will be charged.
The Forum Northallerton reserves the right NOT to accept tickets for re-sale. However, when we do accept tickets for resale, this will only be once all other available tickets are sold and will be subject to a fee.
Tickets accepted for re-sale will only be refunded once the tickets have been re-sold, we will only refund the value of the tickets re-sold.
Website bookings are the responsibility of the customer. Any corrections to a website booking error in seat selection or quantity will be at the discretion of The Forum general manager.
Booking fees are non-refundable.
Decisions to change or cancel events are the responsibility of the Promoter. The Forum (Northallerton) LTD cannot be held responsible for refunds or for any resulting costs you may incur for travel, accommodation, any other related goods or service or other compensation.
If a Promoter cancels an event or makes significant changes to the venue, date, show time or (concerts only) headline we will try to inform you. This will usually be contacted by phone or email. In urgent cases it will be by our social media channels, phone and email.
If an event is rescheduled, changed or moved, we will usually give you the option of either retaining or exchanging your tickets for the new date/location, or alternatively claiming a refund. If an event is cancelled by the Promoter you will be offered a full refund.
Refunds
If for any reason you are entitled to a refund, in most cases you must return any tickets you have:
Any refund will usually be paid, using the same method you used to buy the tickets, within 3-5 working days of the date that we receive your returned tickets.
