Northallerton Musical Theatre Company are excited to be staging Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" this October at The Forum, Northallerton.
An Enchantress turns a selfish and spoiled young Prince into a hideous beast and the only way to break the spell is for the Beast to learn to love another and earn their love in return before the last petal falls from an enchanted rose. If he can't he will remain a beast for ever!
The staff in his castle are also caught up in the spell and transform into household objects (teapot, candlestick, wardrobe, clock).
NMTC are sure they can bring all the magic of the show to the Forum stage and hope you will join them on this magical journey.
Step into the enchanted world of Broadway's classic, based on the Academy Award-winning animated feature, the stage version includes all of the wonderful songs written by Alan Menken and the late Howard Ashman, along with new songs by Mr. Menken and Tim Rice.

Nigel Planer is a comedy legend, an actor, writer and more importantly for this show he's a great poet. He joins Henry Normal, BBC Radio 4's 'poet in reticence' to reunite a team that entertains, educates and informs (but mostly entertains it must be said). Nigel George Planer is a British actor, writer and musician. He played Neil in the BBC comedy The Young Ones and Ralph Filthy in Filthy Rich & Catflap.
